Due to the new covid-19 variant, new rules have come into place in the UK for anyone travelling into the country.

If you are fully vaccinated and arrive in England from a non-red list country after 4am Tuesday 30 November, you:

  • must self-isolate
  • take a PCR test before the end of day 2 after you arrive (lateral flow tests will not be accepted)
  • can leave self-isolation if your PCR test result is negative

If you take a PCR test and the result is positive, you must self-isolate for 10 full days. The day of the test is day 0.

All travel from red list countries is only allowed for returning UK nationals.
